We advise client in the structuring of equity and/or debt investments under start-up, acquisition, merger or joint venture scenarios in a manner that is most tax-efficient and legally compliant considering existing foreign investment laws being implemented by Board of Investments (BOI) and Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) which provide various tax and non-tax incentives. To serve our client well, we do extensive research by looking at laws that regulates foreign ownership and even extended to laws that can be overlooked in pursuit of investments outside of standard legal framework.
